Actors in the sports world (athletes, sports federations, clubs, leagues, sponsors, sports agents, etc.) are confronted with many questions requiring specialised legal skills.
In order to meet the specific needs of the various stakeholders in the Luxembourg and international sports world, in order to defend their interests and develop their projects, the law firm Brucher Thieltgen & Partners developed a “Sports Law” task force in 2016.
This one intervenes in all disciplines (automotive, motorcycling, cycling, football, basketball, rugby, tennis, etc.) and is able to tackle any type of disputes and give advice in a large panel of sports related fields (employment law, contract negotiation, drafting of commercial contracts, transfer issues, doping-related disputes, disciplinary proceedings before sports federations, etc.).
